Removal of a rotary fist is made in the following order:

PREVENTION Remove a rotary fist of 2 (fig. 10.6) and install separately or together with a forward damping rack.

– take off a decorative cap of a wheel;

– turn off a nut of the 7th fastening of a nave in situation "the car on wheels";

– weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel;

– you will hang out and record a forward part of the car on basic racks;

– turn off bolts of fastening of a wheel and remove a wheel;

– turn off a nut of fastening of a power shaft and remove a washer;

– remove a support and a brake disk. Using a soft wire, tie up a support to a rack;

– unscrew the deflector 18 and disconnect it from the cross lever 11 of a suspension bracket;

– turn off a nut of the coupling bolt fixing the lower spherical support 9 of the cross lever 11 of a suspension bracket to a rotary fist 2;

– note the adjusting provision of a bolt, take a bolt and a pin of the lower spherical support from a rotary fist for what wring out the cross lever from a rotary fist down. At emergence of difficulties with removal of the cross lever insert mount between the lever and a body of the car and squeeze out the lever;

PREVENTION When carrying out work try not to damage a protective cover of a spherical support.

– disconnect steering draft from a rotary fist;

– disconnect a connector of the stabilizer of cross stability from the cross lever;

– if the rotary fist is removed separately from a damping rack 1, note the mutual provision of a rack and a rotary fist. Note the top and lower bolts of fastening of a rotary fist to a rack correctly to establish them on former places as the wheel disorder corner depends on their situation, and unscrew bolts. Using the lever, take a rack from a rotary fist.

At removal of a rotary fist together with a resistant otverntita a nut of the top fastening of a rack. If the cylindrical spring of a suspension bracket is still compressed, establish a jack under a rotary fist to support the weight of a rotary fist and a rack, and after a detachment of the top part of a rack, lower a jack to release a cylindrical spring.

Remove a rotary fist, at the same time removing it from a power shaft. If necessary, using a stripper, squeeze out a power shaft from a wheel nave.

Installation of a rotary fist you carry out to the sequences, the return to removal.

Check correctness of installation of bolts of fastening of a rotary fist to a rack.

Tighten nuts of fastening of a power shaft and the stabilizer only in situation "the car on wheels".
